Dear Tiger and Cindy, The purpose of this letter is to acknowledge the outstanding services you both provided to us as our realtors on both the recent sale of our previous home and the purchase of our new home in the Almaden Valley. We were extremely pleased with the professional manner in which you represented us on both transactions and the attention to detail that included the careful and thoughful staging of our house in preparation for listing on the MLS. We were also appreciative of the very extensive and ongoing communication with us about the status of offers, your direct and timely interaction with both buyers' and sellers' agents,a thorough look at all documents through the close of escrow and the overall level of service.
We would also like to acknowledge the efforts of Bevery Peck at Private Mortgage Advisors on our behalf to help ensure that we were prepared to have our loan approved in time to purchase our new home. Lori and I are extremely pleased that we were able to sell our house in the time frame needed to purchase what we believe turned out to be the kind of home we had in mind when we started the process several months ago. My brother and sisters and I want to thank you for all that you did to help us sell our long time family home on Pierce Road in Saratoga.
As you know, it was a rather unique property. Our mother had lived there alone fo several years until she passed away and the property had fallen into disrepair. The house had generations of personal items being stored in it, a leak in the roof, doors that would not open, and parts of the house were falling apart. The one acre grounds were over grown with weeds and the garage and barn were full. What were we to do?
I knew it would take a "special team" to prepare the property for sale, and present it to buyers in a way that would show it's full potential. I wanted a long time resident of Saratoga to help us market our family home because I felt that was the best chance we had in building credibility with, and successfully marketing the property to, those moving here from outside the area or country. I was right! Your experience of living here all your life gave you, I should say us, the credibility that was needed to convince buyers that they were making a wise decision to buy our property.
We especially appreciated your patience and understanding when it came to our feelings about selling this property. You seemed to know that it held a special place in our hearts and will always be remembered as our childhood home. Thank You.
Also, your team of experts, landscapers, clean up crews, inspectors and organizers worked tirelessly to prepare the property for sale. Paula and Cindy were instrumental in pulling it all together. Even your sons helped out.
I did not understand how important my Realtor was until I saw you in action. You did not stop working after some offers to buy our property came in. You went to bat for us when it came time to negotiate the best selling price and terms. When I did not know what our next move should be in a negotiation, you instinctively knew what we should do. We always knew that you were looking out for our best interest. I have to tell you, without your help and expert advice, we would not have been able to sell our family home for anything near what you helped us sell it for. It is safe to say that your negotiation skills, knowing the right things to say, and when to say them, netted us at least an additional $200,000.

Tiger and Cindy came recommended by some friends who used their service to sell and buy their homes. I must say now, after having first-hand experience of their professionalism that they fully deserve their spotless reputation. Tiger is an incredible achiever, tirelessly trying to satisfy your needs, taking your interest as if it were his own.
First they did a remarkable job promoting and staging our house and managed to get a pretty good offer in only a few days of listing. Cindy has obvious talents to stage your house and get potential buyers excited and has this incredible energy! Second they will try hard to find with you the house of your dreams.
I was inpressed by Tiger's ability to keep his cool in situations that could be stressful and his incredible focus to get the job done. He has an amazing network of people in the Valley who know him and respect him. Tiger and Cindy ended up being good friends of ours and beyoud their professional skills they were quick to develop a valued relationship with us.
Selling and buying a house can be a stressful experience, but it could have been much worse had not we had Tiger with us to keep the morale high. And guess what: we did buy the house of our dreams. Letter of Recommendation for Tiger Teerlink
To whom it may concern:
My name is Hugh Morrison and escrow was closed on my property on May 26, 2005! Tiger Teerlink was the listing agent for Alain Pinel and was the key force in getting my transaction completed. I would also like to add that thanks to his efforts, while we were negotiating low price counter offers with our first buyer, he was able to attract another buyer who gave us our full listing price with an “as is” condition of sale. His negotiating expertise yielded us at least $100,000 more than we were expecting to get from the transaction.
Tiger is an expert real estate contracts negotiator with a degree in law and also has prior experience with several large Silicon Valley firms negotiating contracts for them totaling many millions of dollars. He is definitely the guy you want negotiating for you!
Tiger, along with his wife and partner, Cindy Teerlink, work tirelessly to handle every aspect of selling your home. They held many open houses, took care of watching after my property while it was vacant, and did some cleanup for us at no extra cost too. They helped us keep the property in the best showing condition although we were not around to help most of the time. The bottom line here is that with Tiger and Cindy you get help with every aspect of your sale from the high end negotiating to the mundane chores of making sure all your paperwork is complete and all contingencies are taken care of.
Just a note about real estate commissions; I was initially shocked at the size of the commissions on a $2.6 million property, but after experiencing the whole transaction, I would gladly pay these commissions on a future property sale (if Tiger was the agent) because I firmly believe our transaction could not have been completed with a high end buyer without the services of an excellent listing agent. In particular Tiger’s efforts netted us a sale price that more than made up for the commissions we paid.
